Mommy and Daddy went to dinner and a movie to celebrate New Years Eve so I got to spend the evening with cousin Lilia at her house. As usual, we had a great time playing together.

Another day, another reason for family to gather. Everyone joined us this afternoon to watch football and eat leftovers. Nonna made chicken cutlets and fried zucchini as well. Cousin Lilia and I sang songs and played with our new toys. I also had fun playing with cousins Nia and Tessa.

All my Georgia family gathered at Uncle Mark and Auntie Nickie's home this afternoon. We ate leftovers and watched the Boston College football game on TV. Later in the evening we played games. I'm still not feeling 100 percent so Mommy and Daddy took me home a little early. Nonna spent the night with us, too. It's always great when she comes by.

I celebrated my second Christmas today. Santa brought me several nice gifts and I received lots of wonderful presents from all my family members. Mommy and Daddy hosted dinner for the family. It was very enjoyable for us to have everyone over for the day. I started getting a chest cold later in the evening so I hope it doesn't carry over to the rest of the weekend.

Nonna flew in from Maryland yesterday to spend Christmas weekend with her Georgia family. I'm taking the next week off from school to spend with Mommy and Daddy who are taking the next week off from work. I'm so looking forward to that. This evening we all joined at Auntie Sammy and Jessie's house for Christmas Eve dinner. Uncles Mark, Uncle Tracy and Daddy cooked a big Cajun meal for all of us. Afterward we played games and had lots of more fun.

Daddy's best friend Chris flew into town from Montana to watch the Grizzlies play in the national championship game in Chattanooga. Mommy joined them as well, so I got to spend the night with cousin Lilia. We had a blast.

Today was my 19 month birthday. Can you believe it? Mommy and Daddy certainly can't. In the afternoon we joined the rest of my Georgia family at Auntie Adrienne's new home to celebrate Hanukkah with her new husband Tracy and his children.

Mommy and Daddy put up our Christmas trees today. They look so beautiful. I've been learning a number of new Christmas songs (my favorites are Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red Noes Reindeer) and am pretty good at singing along. I also know who Santa Claus is and am excited for his visit in less than three weeks.

Today Auntie Adrienne got married. Mommy was the maid of honor. It was a wonderful service. Afterwards everyone ate dinner at a nice Italian restaurant close by. It was past my bed time so Daddy took me home a little early but Mommy said everyone had a great time. Later that evening my cousin Tessa came over and spent the night with us. She makes me laugh.

Mommy and Daddy hosted a wedding eve wine-and-cheese party for Auntie Adrienne and her fiance Tracy Misner. I believe there were 35 or so people who attended. Both sides of the family met for the first time and got to know each other. We also played several games to help facilitate the mingling.

Today was my 18 month birthday. Daddy was in South Carolina working a football game so Mommy and I had to celebrate without him. We missed Daddy but Mommy loved on me enough for both of them.

Mommy, Daddy and I spent the weekend in Jacksonville, FL. Daddy had a college football game to officiate and he invited the rest of the family to join him. It was a six hour drive from our home but I did very well. I slept a little and watched a couple of educational DVDs on the way to help pass the time. While there Mommy and I did some shopping prior to going to the game. All of us went out to eat a few times as well. We all had a very nice time.

I had a big day today. Mommy helped me dress as a "love bug" for Halloween. In the afternoon, cousin Lilia came over and we walked in a parade with some other kids from the neighborhood. Afterwards we came back to the house and had some dinner. Daddy got home from his game in Tennessee and joined us as we went trick or treating. I had a very enjoyable time and got loads of candy to enjoy.

I spent the weekend staying over at cousin Lilia's house. Mommy and Daddy went to North Carolina for one of Daddy's games. Auntie's Sammy, Jessie and Nicki watched over me well and we all had loads of fun. I'm so lucky to have them in my life.

We had a garage sale today. All my aunts brought things over to sell. I had a hard time letting some of my older toys go in the sale. I even got a little defensive a couple of times when some other kids picked up my toys to look at buying. Mommy talked to me about sharing with others and that helped.

Today was a very busy day. We got up early in the morning and my Georgia family and I drove north of the city about an hour to a pumpkin farm. We picked out pumpkins to take home and rode on a hay ride. Later in the afternoon everyone reconvened at my house to celebrate Mommy's birthday. Daddy cooked grilled chicken and burgers and baked a birthday cake and my Aunts brought salads and pasta.

I had a really fun last few days. Mommy and Daddy flew out to San Francisco for the weekend and I slept over at my cousin Lilia's house. Aunties Sammy and Nickie took very good care of me. It was a blast.

Mommy is out of town for a couple of days for work so Daddy is looking after me. What is a sign of things to come, I came home from school today with a new word - "why?". I used it several times before bedtime. Daddy just smiled and shook his head at me.

Made it back from the resort early in the afternoon. We had a great time. Aunties Jessie and Sammy came over with cousin Lilia after we got home to watch the Patriots play. I decided today would be a good day to use the potty for the first time so I did! Surprised everyone including myself. Mommy gave me a special treat afterward.

Mommy, Daddy and I are spending the weekend at a resort a couple of hours from our home. Daddy has the weekend off from officiating and we thought we'd take advantage and get away for the weekend. Today we played in the pool, walked around the resort and had a nice dinner at a restaurant close to the hotel. We are really enjoying our time together.

For the past several days I haven't been feeling well. Mommy kept me out of school for a few days and stayed home with me until I felt better. Today was my first day back and everything went fine. After school today my Georgia family all came over to my house to celebrate with Auntie Adrienne. Her boyfriend Tracy asked her to marry him this past weekend and she said yes! We are all so excited for them.

A very exciting day today around my house. My Georgia family and I went out for a Mexican dinner tonight then all came over to my house to play games. I figured since everyone was here, I'd surprise them and walk. So I did. I walked from the couch to the fireplace, from the fireplace to the kitchen, from the kitchen to the front door, and every where in between. Daddy took a video and put it on the video page for all to view. So from now on there will be little to no crawling for me. Yeah!

This afternoon we went over to Uncle Mark and Auntie Nickie's house for a BBQ. Uncle Mark's father is in town for the weekend and he grilled chicken and steaks for us all. His nephew also came along for a visit. After dinner we played games around the table. As usual, we have quite a good time.

We are back in our house after our weekend just down the road. We had a great time in the Riverthur subdivision. While visiting Daddy noticed I had two more teeth coming in. That brings the count up to eight. Pretty soon I'll be able to corn right off the cob!

Today is my 14 month birthday. It's also my Gramma Clary's birthday as well so Daddy and I sent her a video birthday greeting. Today was also my first day of school back at my old daycare. Everything went great and I fell right back into the old swing of things. It's nice having Lilia there, too. We get to see each other in the morning before school starts.

Today was my last day of staying at the Auntie Jessie Daycare and Spa. She starts work next week at the Savannah College of Art and Design so I'm heading back to my old daycare come Monday. And Lilia is joining me! Although initially we won't be in the same classroom, in a few months we should be.

I had a very busy Independence Day. My GA family all met at the neighborhood pool before lunch to hang out and swim. Later, we went over to Uncle Mark and Auntie Nickie's house for a BBQ. We finished off the night back at my house where Uncle Mark and Daddy treated us to a fireworks show. I had so much fun!

We returned from our Montana vacation today. Mommy says I traveled really well and she was proud of me. I really miss Gramma, Papa and all my other MT, AK and ND relatives. It was sure great getting to spend so much time with them. I also miss seeing the cows out in Papa's field. I love cows.

Daddy's best friend Chris took Mommy and me on a tour of the city and we also had two nice dinners at the homes of two of his other close friends. I took my first airplane ride today. The three of us flew to Montana to spend a couple of weeks with Daddy's family. Our flight went well and according to Mommy I behaved great. Gramma and Papa were sure glad to see us all.

Mommy, Daddy and I spent the day looking at bathroom tile and kitchen appliances. We are going to remodel our kitchen and master bathroom in late June and we wanted to start narrowing down our choices. Later in the afternoon, Daddy and I watched the Preakness. You may recall that we watched it last year together as well, even though I was only four days old at the time (see picture from May 17, 2008).

Today was my first birthday and Mommy and Daddy threw a party for me. Auntie Sammie and cousin Lilia came by to help me celebrate, as did Auntie Nickie and Uncle Mark. Mommy made me my own chocolate cake, which I absolutely loved, and I even got to try ice cream for the first time. I received some wonderful presents as well. As far as birthdays go, it was awesome!

Today was a day of "firsts" around my house. Most importantly, today was my first chance to celebrate Mother's Day. Daddy and I got up really early and wrapped a present for Mommy. We also made a handmade card for her. Next we made Mommy breakfast in bed (even though she got up right before we could deliver it to her). We love Mommy very much and are so happy she's in our lives. Secondly, I stood up in my crib all by myself for the first time this morning. That seemed to be big deal around the house. Finally, and to the chagrin of Mommy and Daddy, I climbed up my first stair this afternoon. I was pretty excited about it, but after Daddy put me back on the floor I heard Mommy and him mumbling something under their breath about it being time for some gates. Not sure what they meant by that.

Today my Georgia family spent the day helping Aunties Jessie and Sam move into their new house. It is only one block from Auntie Nickie and Uncle Mark and only one mile from my house. It's great having them so close. It means I'll be able to see my cousin Lilia even more.

I went back in for a follow up doctor's appointment for my ear surgery the end of March. The doctor said I was doing much better and my hearing had returned to normal. We were all pretty excited to hear that news.

Mommy and me spent the day at Auntie Sam and Jessie's new home. They are moving in next week and we helped them paint the kitchen and cousin Lilia's bedroom. Daddy spent the day golfing with some of his friends from Minneapolis who flew down to visit him.

Today I reached another milestone when I pulled myself up to a standing position for the very first time. Mommy and Daddy were very excited but to me it was the only way I could reach my toy up on the couch.

Daddy came home this afternoon! Mommy and I were so excited to see him at the airport when we picked him up. It was my first time in that place and I behaved very well, even though Daddy's luggage was late arriving. Later that evening I took my very first bath in a real bath tub (no more infant tubs for me). Me and my rubber sea creature friends really enjoyed the extra space to splash around.

Today was another special day for me as I finally learned how to crawl. Up until now I could only move forward and backward like an inch worm but today I figured out I could move while on all fours. Yeah for me (not so much for Mommy and Daddy cuz now I'm even more mobile).

Today was my eleven month birthday. It was also the day my fourth tooth came in. Mommy took pictures of me to mark the milestone and sent them to Daddy via email, who was then able to post them on my website while still in Montana.

Today was Easter Sunday. First thing in the morning I hunted for Easter eggs around the house and was able to find a few. Later in the morning Mommy and I went to Auntie Jessie and Sam's house to celebrate the day with the rest of the Georgia girls.

Daddy left for Montana today to celebrate the birthdays of Papa and his best friend Chris. He'll be back in a week or so. That means Mommy and I will be on our own for a few days. While we are looking forward to some "girl time" we will also miss Daddy tremendously. I also got to spend some time with Auntie Sam this evening, while Mommy and Aunties Nickie and Jessie went to the Sugarland concert.

My third tooth came in today! One of my top ones. Mommy noticed it while we were playing after school. Speaking of school, Mommy and Daddy came to our "Passport To Adventure" party today. Each of the classrooms celebrated a different part of the globe. We got to taste different foods and learn interesting facts about new countries. It was fun seeing all the bigger kids and teachers.

I'm still feeling good after my operation. No signs of infection or anything which is really great. Mommy says I'm back to my normal wild self.

I had tubes put in my ears this morning. The whole procedure went very well and Mommy and Daddy said I was a real trooper. The only time I cried was for about 10 minutes and that was just after I came out of the anesthesia. My doctor has put me on ear drops for the next week and also said I can resume my normal diet and activities right away.

Another milestone for me today. From my back, all by myself I was able to get into a sitting position. Mommy and Daddy thought that was pretty cool. I did, too. Tomorrow is a big day for me. I'm scheduled to get tubes put in my ears at 9:00am. Probably be a rough morning as I wait, since I can't have anything to eat or drink from the time I go to bed until after the operation, and I'm hungry when I awake. I'm sure I'll be pretty grumpy beforehand but we are all hoping it's worth it in the end. We are all tired of my constant ear infections.

Mommy, Daddy and I went to breakfast this morning at a local restaurant. I enjoyed the trip and got to try cheese grits for the first time. Can't say they are my favorite, but I ate several spoonfuls. I also tried pineapple, strawberries, cantelope, honeydew melon and grapes. I'm certainly broadening my horizons. In the afternoon, most of my Georgia family stopped by to watch college basketball, visit and have dinner.

Mommy and Daddy took me to see an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist today. The ear infections I've had over the past several months just don't want to go away. The doctor said I need tubes put in my ears. He said it is a routine surgery and should take only about ten minutes. I'm scheduled to have it done on Monday, March 30. Hopefully once that is done I'll feel much better.

It was so nice outside today that we had a small BBQ at our house. Aunties Samantha and Nickie came by, as well as Uncle Mark and cousin Lilia. We sat on the deck and visited while Daddy grilled some chicken breasts. We also had a couple of homemade salads as well. It was a lot of fun.

Mommy, Daddy and me spent most the day shopping. We got a new car seat for me (I've outgrown my old one) and also looked at some used cars. Mommy's two-door coupe is too small for all of us so we are looking for a four-door to replace it. We didn't find anything yet so will keep looking. We also stopped for lunch at a restaurant and I got to try cheese, lettuce, limes and lemons for the first time. That was exciting.

The month of March roared in like a lion in Atlanta and I got to see snow for the first time today. Daddy took me outside to look at it while Mommy made a video. You can see it on my video page. I'm also getting pretty good at putting balls and blocks into slots on one of my toys. Mommy and Daddy praise me often so I like to keep doing it.

The last day of February turned out to be a big day for me. My first tooth came in today. Mommy found it by accident when she was feeding me. It's on the bottom row in the middle. So that was exciting news. I also decided today that it was time to start crawling forward. Now I'm not fully on all fours yet, more like an inch worm, but no matter I'm still able to move forward for quite a long distance. So it was a big day today around our house.

We got up early this morning so we could attend the first communion of my cousin Tessa. Nonna flew into town from Maryland for the event and I got to spend lots of time over the weekend being spoiled by her. After church we all went to Auntie Sam and Auntie Jessie's house to visit and play more games. Suffice it to say, we were all went to bed early after we got home.

We had a busy day today. Early in the afternoon we attended a memorial service for the mother of Daddy's good friend Andy from Montana. She lived on a beautiful horse farm just a short drive from our house. It was a sunny day and the memorial was held under a tent in her yard. Andy gave a touching eulogy, speaking of his mother as a woman who lived life "outrageously". I was glad I could be there for Daddy's friend and his family. After the memorial we drove back to our house where we changed clothes then went to Auntie Nicole's house for a birthday "fiesta" for Uncle Mark and Auntie Jessie. We ate Mexican food and played poker late into the night. It was really fun.

Had my nine month checkup today. My doctor said it looks like my ear infection is back so she put me on another round of antibiotics. Hope it clears it up soon. Other than that I'm starting to spend a lot of time scooting around on the floor these days.....but backwards not forwards. One step at a time, though.

Today was Valentines Day. Mommy and Daddy got me some new sea creatures for my bathtub. I'm so excited. In the afternoon Cousin Lilia, Aunties Jessie and Sam and Uncle Mark dropped by for a visit. Mommy made us all dinner and we had birthday cake for Mark and Jessie. Later in the evening the adults all played poker.

It was a pretty eventful week for me. After some practice I've learned to say "oh oh" after I drop something on the floor. Daddy taught me how (though I'm sure he will soon wish he wouldn't have since I've now started to throw things off my high chair just to say it). Also, Mommy taught me how to clap so now whenever I see her do it I join in. As for today, we all went over to Aunt Nicole and Uncle Marks house for an impromptu BBQ. Auntie Sam and my cousin Lilia stopped by as well. We had a fun time visiting.

Mommy was in Detroit today for work so Daddy picked me up from school today. He had to bundle me up real good before taking me outside cuz it's been real cold the last few days. But it is supposed to warm up this weekend so hopefully all of us will be able to take a walk around the neighborhood.

Our little family spent the day getting ready for the Super Bowl. We made lots of game-day snacks and everyone dressed to support the Steelers. I was able to watch most of the first half but then had to head off to bed. It sounded like Daddy enjoyed the game, though, based on the yelling and screaming I could hear from the living room.

Daddy drove to Washington, DC, today to watch the inauguration of President Obama. Uncle Mark, Auntie Nickie and Auntie Sam went with him. So Mommy and me will get to hang out the next few days. We are looking forward to our "girl time".

Spent this past week getting back into my daily routine after having Mommy and Daddy home with me during the day for two weeks while they were on Christmas vacation. We all really enjoyed the time together.

Mommy, Daddy and I celebrated the New Year at home with Chinese food and football games.
